About Crossways

Nestled in a residential cul-de-sac in the quaint suburb of Sutton in Surrey, our 38 bedroom nursing home is a place where the warmth of home comfort meets excellence in nursing care.  

We understand that each resident is unique, with their own distinct needs and preferences. At Crossways, we’re first and foremost committed to getting to know each resident. We create customised care plans for every resident, ensuring that their unique needs are met and that Crossways Nursing Home genuinely feels like a home. Our guiding ethos is built on the following core principles:

Our Comfortable Bedrooms

Our 38 thoughtfully designed bedrooms have been meticulously decorated to cater to the diverse needs of our residents. Our rooms come in a variety of sizes to ensure that each individual can find the perfect space. We encourage residents to bring personal items to make their room feel like their own.

To keep our residents entertained and connected, we provide a flat-screen television in each room. We also provide Wi-Fi access throughout our facility. Residents can easily stay in touch with friends and family, browse the internet or engage in online activities of their choice.

Safety and peace of mind are paramount at Crossways Nursing Home. That’s why each room is equipped with a nurse call system. This system ensures that help is always just a button press away, providing reassurance and support when needed.

Our Amenities

Our relaxed setting makes Crossways an ideal place to call home. We take pride in our amenities, including a salon for pampering and self-care, an activities room for engagement and social interaction and a beautifully landscaped outdoor garden, where residents can enjoy the fresh air and find moments of tranquility. Our comfortable lounge provides residents with a warm and inviting space to relax and socialise. Our facilities are thoughtfully considered to enhance the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Our kitchen staff are experts in cooking deliciously balanced meals tailored to residents’ preferences and dietary needs. The enthusiasm and passion of our team have earned us an ‘Outstanding’ rating for being well-led from the Care Quality Commission, a testament to our commitment to delivering the highest standards of support to our residents.

Home Manager

Meet Sarah

Our team is headed up by Sarah Stacey, who has been in the care industry for over twenty years. She joined Crossways in 2010 as the Business Manager and became the Home Manager in 2014. Sarah strives to ensure the effective delivery of holistic person-centred care in a safe environment in accordance with CQC standards. She leads by example and works with a dedicated team to provide high standards of care in a homely and happy environment. She has always maintained good relationships and works with the local authority and Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group. Sarah is the nursing home representative for Sutton.
