Sutton Fire Brigade Visit

We had a wonderful morning today as Sutton Fire Brigade paid a special visit to Crossways Nursing Home. Our resident Rick, a retired fireman, was delighted to reconnect with his former profession and step inside the fire engine once again. Over tea and biscuits, everyone enjoyed a warm chat with the firefighters, sharing stories and laughs. This visit was especially memorable for Rick and all of us, adding a personal touch that made the day truly meaningful. We’re already looking forward to their next visit on December 24th, when they’ll join us for Christmas carols and festive cheer!
