April was a super fun month at Crossways, filled with animals, Easter celebrations and community connection. We welcomed Karen’s Pets and Ponies, giving residents the chance to cuddle baby lambs, chicks, rabbits, and more—even feeding a lamb named Barbara! Easter was celebrated with bonnets, crafts, songs from local nursery children, and visits from family and friends. Our home came alive with live music from Denny and Richard, lively karaoke afternoons with Grasmere Nursing Home, and regular visits from students at Brookways and Overton Grange. We also began a heartwarming collaboration with Sutton Youth Justice Service, whose young people now bake delicious treats for us each week.
