Autumn has arrived at Crossways, where we’ve felt the temperature drop and the colours change. Our focus has been on this season, with arts and crafts including pumpkin painting and large and small group discussions. One of the highlights of October was when The Vibrant Ukulele Band joined us for a lively singalong. The lounge was full of residents who thoroughly appreciated seeing them and enjoyed hearing the distinctive sound of the ukulele.
Denny and Richard separately entertained us, and we also had a visit from the nursery school children for songs and nursery rhymes. We have also created small groups of residents where we read poems, play board games and reminisce together. Be sure to read more about what we got up to this past month!
