July began with a wonderful gesture of kindness from Nonsuch High School. As part of their community project the students made Care Boxes for every resident, containing many items including letters, poems books, soft toys and toiletries.
We also enjoyed our minibus trip to The Old Moat Garden Centre and a ‘end of term ‘picnic in the park with the students from Brookways school. Our monthly church service was held where we sang hymns and prayed together.
Denny also joined us for an afternoon of live music and were delighted to be joined by families who had a boogie with us! Dave also joined us for a very lively afternoon playing his accordion. Be sure to read our newsletter for July to see what all happened!
